The Alexandria Police Department Makes Arrest in Connection to Two Bank Robberies

ALEXANDRIA, Va.— The Alexandria Police Department has charged a man in connection with two bank robberies in the area. 

The suspect identified as Mr. Jaquan Royal, 27, of Prince George’s County, Maryland has been charged with two counts of bank robbery in reference to the March 23, 2023, bank robbery in the 3500 block of Mount Vernon Avenue and the April 3, 2023, bank robbery in the 400 block of John Carlyle Street.

No injuries were reported in connection with either incident.  He is currently being held at an adult detention center in another jurisdiction.
