The Marymount University men's lacrosse, men's basketball, and women's basketball programs earned Atlantic East Team Academic Awards, announced the conference on Friday.
Additionally, an all-time record 178 Saints were named to the Atlantic East All-Academic Team. 11 more Saints were honored as CVC Academic All-Conference players in men's volleyball.
The Atlantic East Team Academic Award is awarded to the institution's team that had the top GPA in its respective sport. To qualify for the Atlantic East All-Academic Team, student-athletes must earn a 3.20 GPA for the academic year and earn a varsity letter.
The Marymount men's lacrosse team earned the distinction for the first time in program history. Additionally, the Saints earned a USILA Team Academic Award for the second straight season as announced on Tuesday.
Marymount men's basketball picked up the award for the third time in four seasons of competition in the Atlantic East. Marymount women's basketball has now earned the award during all four seasons of Atlantic East competition.
