The city of Alexandria is inviting residents to participate in the third engagement series for the Market Square renovation project. Following a successful second series, two design concepts have been selected based on public input. The city has now provided updates on these concepts through an online survey available at alexandriava.gov/CityHall.
Residents are encouraged to provide feedback to assist in choosing a final design that aligns with their vision and reflects Alexandria's unique character. "We need your feedback to help us move towards a final selection for the Market Square design that reflects your vision and the unique character of Alexandria!" states the announcement.
In addition to offering feedback, participants will gain exclusive access to historical research conducted by the design team as they work on shaping City Hall's ground floor. The deadline for completing the survey is January 31.
To participate, residents can learn about the refined concepts by watching a video or reviewing presentation materials before taking the online survey. Staying connected with project updates is possible through signing up for “City Hall Renovation” eNews and following social media channels.
