Clinical & Operational Benchmarking Survey

Ambulatory Surgery Center Association Pac (ASCAPAC) issued the following announcement on Oct. 1

ASCA's online Clinical & Operational Benchmarking Survey provides valuable quality and performance data about your ASC that you can compare with other participating ASCs.

It features a streamlined, quick-to-complete survey design; easy-to-read reports that allow for quick comparisons between your ASC and national and specialty trends; and dynamic filtering capabilities that allow you to focus on the information most relevant to your facility.

The survey was designed by ASC benchmarking experts and based on feedback from ASCA members. Participation is open to all ASCs. ASCA members save $150 on survey subscriptions.

The 2021 survey includes several new features, including free access to the new ASCA e-booklet Benchmarking Basics for ASCs: A How-to Guide for Improving Your ASC.

Subscribers to the 2021 survey receive free access to Benchmarking Basics for ASCs, a how-to guide for using benchmarking to improve your ASC’s operations and performance.

This short electronic publication provides an overview of benchmarking in the ASC setting and offers valuable insights and guidance from ASC benchmarking experts. Complete with sample templates and real-life case studies, the booklet will assist you in developing and implementing a successful benchmarking program in your ASC.

Benchmarking Basics for ASCs is only available to survey subscribers. It cannot be purchased as a standalone item.

Additional information and instructions for accessing the publication will be available in early 2021.

Specialty-Specific Ophthalmology Section

The 2021 survey includes a new specialty-specific ophthalmology section. This allows ASCs to submit, filter and benchmark data specifically for ophthalmology procedures.
