We are excited to announce that our DaSha River Ecological Corridor project in Shenzhen, China, won an Urban Land Institute 2021 Award for Excellence.
Inspired by Shenzhen’s heritage and culture, we designed a quality public space amidst a highly dense urban area that aims to use the natural settings and resources to enhance the lives of the city’s residents. The corridor’s design not only improved the quality of the existing waterfront vegetation, features and facilities, but also reconnected bicycle lanes and walkways on both sides of the river, creating a connected pedestrian experience to different parts of the city.
