The Arlington Chamber of Commerce will hold the State of the County & Public Safety Awards, sponsored by VHC Health, on Tuesday, June 14. This community-focused event celebrates Arlington's economic achievements and future, and those who make the community an outstanding place to live and work.
WHAT: State of the County & Public Safety Awards
WHEN: Tuesday, June 14 from 8:00-9:30 a.m. ET.
WHO: Arlington County Board Chair Katie Cristol will deliver her State of the County address, which will highlight on the economic and development status of Arlington.
The Chamber will also honor public safety personnel and first responders from Arlington County's Fire Department, Police Department, Office of Public Safety Communications and Emergency Management, and Office of the Sheriff, who have exemplified extraordinary heroic actions and exceptional performance of their duties.
ABC7/WJLA's Health Reporter, Victoria Sanchez, will emcee the event.
WHERE: The program will be held as a webinar via Zoom. All registered attendees will receive the meeting link upon confirmation.
REGISTRATION: Online registration closes on Tuesday, June 7 at 5:00 p.m. The cost of registration is $50 for Chamber members and $70 for prospective members. Registration fees will provide breakfast for a first-responder or public safety personnel. Sign up here.
