Eight fast-growing Arlington companies were honored last night during Arlington Economic Development (AED)’s inaugural REV Awards ceremony. REV, which stands for Revenue, Employment, and Venture, recognizes Arlington-based companies that have experienced substantial growth in their respective categories with exceptional growth in revenue, employment and venture capital.
Arlington County Board Vice-Chair Christian Dorsey, as well other members of the County Board and County leadership from the County Manager’s Office and AED, were present to honor the awardees with members of the business community and others.
“The REV Awards were created to celebrate the innovation and perseverance in Arlington’s business community,” said Michael Stiefvater, Acting Director of AED’s Business Investment Group. “The eight winning companies exemplify these traits as leaders in their respective industries and we are proud that they call Arlington home.”
The companies honored at last night’s event and their categories include:
- Revenue
- Under $5 million: Franklin IQ
- $5-$15 million: C3 Integrated Solutions
- $15-$25 million: Black Cape
- $25+ million: PGLS
- Under 100 employees: Shift5
- Over 100 employees: Targeted Victory
- Early-stage: EarthOptics
- Late-stage: Federated Wireless
