Women in Business Master Class: How to Preserve Yourself While Building Your Career
Tuesday, December 6, 2022 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM EST
The Chamber's Women in Business Master Class series offers an important educational opportunity to female business owners and professionals. These events are open to Chamber members and prospective members.
THIS MONTH'S TOPIC: How to Preserve Yourself While Building Your Career, presented by Rachel Boehm of Rachel Boehm Coaching & Consulting.
For all professionals, but especially professional women, sacrificing our own wellbeing to support everyone and everything else has become so common it seems normal, even required. This is costing us mentally, physically, emotionally, and even financially. When we don’t invest in our well-being, we increase our risks for burnout, anxiety, depression, musculoskeletal pain, metabolic disease, decreased critical thinking, slower response times, poor sleep…the list goes on. And when any of these occur our work performance suffers, costing us time and money.
Research is clear that women who consistently invest a few minutes a day in their self-care improve their well-being and performance. Even women who began consistently using a basic skincare routine reported improved quality of life.
At this event, Rachel Boehm of Rachel Boehm Coaching & Consulting will walk us through how to create a personalized self-care routine that fits into your current life commitments. Bring your calendar so you can schedule it in and actually make it happen!
The first 5 registrants will receive a complimentary signed copy of Rachel Boehm’s memoir, I Am NOT!.
“When enough of the world comes at you, telling you you’re nothing, you believe. You become what you believe. You become until the pain of becoming is too great to bear. You constantly ask yourself: What if? You’re faced with a choice. To stay. Or to change. Or to end. If you’re lucky, enough love begins seeping through, lighting a path to change.” – I Am NOT! by Rachel Boehm
