Of the 235,764 people living in Arlington County, Virginia in 2021, 49.7% (117,199) were women and 50.3% (118,565) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by Central Nova News.

Data showed the average age for both genders in Arlington County in 2021 was 35 years, lower than the national average of 40.

According to census data, men aged 18 and over outnumbered women in the same age group by 2,287. Meanwhile, in the 65 and over group, there were 11,794 men and 13,754 women.
