The Alexandria Police Department, in conjunction with the regional Critical Incident Response Team, has identified the deceased individual involved in the officer-related shooting on August 12, 2024. The incident took place at 5101 Maris Avenue. The man has been identified as Paul Gabriel Behan, Jr., aged 61.
