Community health assessment event rescheduled to October 1

The Community Health Assessment Kick-Off Event, originally scheduled for an earlier date, will now take place on Tuesday, October 1. The event is set to occur from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Patrick Henry Recreation Center located at 4653 Taney Ave., Alexandria, VA 22304.

The Alexandria Health Department has issued an apology for any inconvenience caused by the rescheduling and encourages residents of Alexandria to attend the event in October.

Open to the public, the event offers a free boxed meal and activities for children. Interpreters in Spanish, Amharic, and Dari will be present. Other language interpretation services are available upon request if arranged in advance.

Interested participants are encouraged to register online or contact (703) 746-5654 for assistance.

During the event, attendees will gain insights into the Community Health Assessment process, its impact on the community, and opportunities for participation. Additional information about the Community Health Assessment and related activities planned for this fall can be found on the Alexandria Health Department’s Community Health Assessment and Community Health Improvement Plan website.
