On March 14, 2025, Rep. Don Beyer acknowledged Senator Tim Kaine's stance with appreciation. In a post shared on social media at 18:15 UTC, he stated: "Thank you @SenTimKaine for voting NO!"
Later that day, at 18:24 UTC, Beyer extended similar gratitude towards another senator with the statement: "And thank you @MarkWarner for voting NO!"
Further elaborating on his disapproval of the legislative proposal, Beyer addressed Senator Mark Warner directly in another message posted at 18:24 UTC: "@MarkWarner This is a bad bill and every Senator should vote NO!"
