Join us to discuss the retention, training, recruitment tactics to help solve workforce challenges that came from AGC inaugural workforce summit. Facilitators from the summit will be on hand to summarize the main recommendations from the summit and help webinar participants understand how they can implement these suggested solutions.

Amy Hall

Amy is a native of Toledo, OH. She attended University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill where she completed her undergraduate studies. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in physical education/sports medicine, she moved to New York to work for Delta Airlines as an international flight attendant. Several years later, while living in Dallas Texas, she became an account manager with Abbott Diagnostics, a division of Abbott Laboratories, in San Angelo, TX. For the next several years, she continued working in the biotech field in both Arizona and Georgia for Ventana Medical Systems, now Roche Diagnostics, and AmeriPath.
Amy is currently a Director on the Associated General Contractor of America’s National Board of Directors, the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ohio Contractors Association where she was the 1st Woman of Color, in the history of the country, to be chairman of the board for a state organization in the Heavy Highway Construction industry. She also chairs OCA’s DBE committee. Amy participates on the MITA/MDOT DBE committee. Amy is also a board member of the Toledo Lucas County Port Authority Board, Toledo Chamber of Commerce and the Historic South Initiative board.

Zach Fields serves as Vice President for the Construction Education Foundation of Georgia. He supports over 150 skilled trade programs in Georgia’s public schools. As a former high school teacher, he is driven by a passion to connect young people to the incredible opportunities in the skilled trades. Zach coordinates CEFGA’s K12 Pipeline initiative with trade associations, individual employers, GADOE, and SkillsUSA to advance and elevate the craft training programs in the state. He is an NCCER Master Trainer and serves on boards for Trade Five, Georgia Association for Career and Technical Education (GACTE) and the Trade and Industrial Educators of GA (TIEGA). Zach is an active member of the Roswell Rotary Club, middle school leader coach at North Point Community Church, youth football coach, average woodworker, proud husband and father of four.

James Busch is a Workforce Development Manager for NCCER and provides expert support for organization’s seeking accreditation through NCCER and will relentlessly and cooperatively seek solutions for their workforce and training challenges and opportunities.
Before his move to education, he served ten years in the U.S. Army and as a Direct Support Mechanic for the Federal Civilian Service. James received his B.S. in Career & Technical Education from Northern Arizona University and is a proud resident of “The Big Sky State” of Montana.
