This #FeelGoodFriday goes out to Team New Mexico! They have created some incredible momentum over the past two months in Santa Fe as part of the broader #SoKidsCanMove initiative working to expand access to O&P care for physical activity.
This past week, they secured another unanimous committee passing of #NMHB131 - this time through Senate Committee on Tax, Business, and Transportation (9-0). Additionally, during the hearing, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Presbyterian Healthcare Services came out IN SUPPORT of the bill! No one testified in opposition.
They now head to their final committee - Senate Judiciary - tomorrow morning. Continue to cheer them on and get involved if you live or work in New Mexico! Call your Senators to tell them to support HB 131.
