The Alexandria Health Department has announced updates to its holiday closure schedule. On December 26, the department will be closed all day in observance of the Christmas holiday.

According to the updated schedule, several facilities will have modified hours leading up to and after Christmas. On Friday, December 22, the Alexandria Health Department, Flora Krause Casey Health Center, and the Teen Wellness Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. However, starting from Monday, December 25, through Tuesday, December 26, the Alexandria Health Department, Flora Krause Casey Health Center, and the Teen Wellness Center at Alexandria City High School will be closed.

Normal business hours will resume on Wednesday, December 27, and continue through Friday, December 29. However, it is important to note that all AHD facilities will be closed on Monday, January 1, 2024, in observance of the New Year's holiday.
