The City of Alexandria is inviting community members to participate in a virtual meeting scheduled for Thursday, October 10, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The session aims to gather input on the future of Market Square, a key historical site that has been central to civic activities since Alexandria's founding in 1749.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage with representatives from LEO A DALY, the design firm overseeing the project. The event is free and open to all, but advanced registration is required.

The current state of Market Square Plaza and Garage necessitates significant structural repairs. This situation presents an opportunity to reassess the design and function of both the garage and plaza, as well as their relationship with City Hall.
