Irish music night set for March 8 at Alexandria History Museum

An evening of traditional Irish music will take place at the Alexandria History Museum at The Lyceum on March 8, starting at 7 p.m. The event will feature The Irish Breakfast Band, known for their lively performances and comprising over 15 musicians who play a mix of fiddles, flutes, guitars, drums, pipes, and vocals.

Tickets are available in advance for $10 or can be purchased at the door for $15. Children aged 17 and under can attend for $5. Attendees will also have access to free snacks, with beer and wine available for purchase. Proceeds from the event will support the Office of Historic Alexandria.

The Office of Historic Alexandria is committed to preserving and sharing the history of the City of Alexandria through various museums, historic sites, archives, archaeology projects, tours, exhibits, and public programs. Their work aims to enrich the present by confronting the city's past while enhancing life quality for residents and visitors alike.
