Introduction: The discovery of the Asian Longhorn Tick and Theileria in Virginia has been a source of concern for Virginia cattle producers. At this program for cattle producers, we will discuss ways to minimize negative impacts from the disease in your herd.

Kevin Lahmers, DVM, PhD, Virginia Tech
Dr. Lahmers has been a leading researcher in Theileria Orientalis Ikeda since its discovery in Virginia.
