Alabama State Chiropractic Association Hires ACA to Manage Operations
The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) has entered into an agreement with the Alabama State Chiropractic Association (ASCA) to provide association management services. ASCA will continue to function as an independent organization, with its own governance, while ACA manages its daily operations.
Among the benefits of the new arrangement, which begins Feb. 1, ASCA will have the opportunity not only to leverage ACA’s expertise in association management but also its deep understanding of chiropractic issues and its strong relationships across the industry.
“ACA is eager to work with ASCA and help strengthen its operations, which support the important work it does on behalf of Alabama doctors of chiropractic,” said ACA Executive Vice President Karen Silberman.
“ASCA’s mission and governance remain the same. Through this arrangement, however, ASCA members will benefit from greater efficiency in their association’s operations, resulting in a better member experience,” said ASCA President Brad Frost, DC.
“ACA’s team brings a great deal of knowledge and experience in association management to the table, which ASCA can now access readily,” noted Brad Russell, DC, ASCA board member and ACA’s Alabama delegate.
The arrangement with ASCA is the second of its kind for ACA, which also manages operations for the Minnesota Chiropractic Association (MCA). Since 2021, the year its partnership with ACA began, MCA’s operating revenue has grown 46%. In both cases, the associations’ missions and governance remain unchanged as ACA staff focus on day-to-day operations.
