Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) has extended the deadline of their community needs assessment to October 15.  VCE is asking for feedback on what issues are important to the community and on what services they'd like to see changed. This feedback will be used to enhance ongoing and future outreach programs. The survey should take no more than 10 minutes. To fill out the survey, visit alexandriava.gov/recreation-programs/power-on-programs

VCE is a partnership between Virginia Tech, Virginia State University, and the local city/county with the initiative to bring research-backed programs to the local communities. Our main educational programs are Agriculture Natural Resources, 4-H Youth Development, and Family Consumer Services, in addition to volunteer programs (4- H, Masters Gardeners, Financial Education, Food and Nutrition Education, Energy Masters, and Master Naturalists).
