Housing program open houses scheduled across Alexandria communities

Housing 2040 is hosting open houses at five Alexandria communities with affordable housing programs. These events offer an opportunity to learn about the creation and beneficiaries of these programs. No registration is needed for attendance.

The schedule is as follows:

- October 28, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., at The Nexus at West Alex, located at 3450 Berkeley Street.

- October 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Southern Towers, The Monticello, situated at 5055 Seminary Road.

- October 30, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., both at The Waypoint at Fairlington on Menokin Drive and The Lineage on North Patrick Street.

- October 31, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at The Spire on North Beauregard Street.

Further information regarding affordable housing development and resources can be found on the Housing 2040 Education Month website. Presentations and recordings from kick-off meetings held in September are available online.

Community members are encouraged to submit ideas or comments through the Community Comment Form and participate in listening pop-ups nearby.

For updates on Housing 2040's progress, individuals can sign up for eNews under the "Affordable Housing" category or follow updates on X @HousingAlexVA and Facebook @HousingAlexandriaVA. Questions can be directed to the Office of Housing via phone.
