The Alexandria Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection with an attempted abduction at Holmes Run Dog Park. Rohid Hakimi, aged 21 and not a resident of the city, faces charges of attempted abduction with intent to defile and sexual battery.
The incident occurred around 6 p.m. on October 29, 2024. The victim was reportedly grabbed from behind but managed to fight off the attacker, who fled the scene.
Hakimi was taken into custody on Thursday, November 14, 2024.
