The Alexandria Fire Department addressed a two-alarm fire at a 15-story condominium located at 6301 Stevenson Avenue. The incident occurred around 2:47 p.m.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the fire was accidental. Two residents and three firefighters sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The Red Cross is providing assistance to about 25 residents from 17 apartments affected by the blaze. The investigation into the fire continues.
