Solarize Alexandria is conducting its annual campaign, which runs until June 30. This initiative offers residents of Alexandria guidance and resources for installing solar power systems in their homes. During the campaign period, homeowners can sign up to receive a complimentary solar satellite assessment of their property. They will also have access to discounted rates from approved solar system installers.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of Solarize Alexandria. The program is part of Solarize Virginia, a community outreach effort managed by the Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP), a state non-profit organization. LEAP provides ongoing customer support and education throughout the process.
