The City of Alexandria is set to host a virtual Community Conversation on the proposed Potomac Yard Entertainment District (PYED) on February 22. The event, scheduled from 7 to 8:30 p.m., will focus on transportation aspects of the proposal, featuring insights from city and state experts.

Attendees who register for the event will have an opportunity to pose transportation-related questions to the panel. Questions can be submitted through Zoom's Q&A chat feature, with priority given to those concerning transportation.

Participants will be informed of their turn to speak via chat coordination by staff members. Once it is their turn, participants will have 30 seconds to ask their question after being unmuted. This time limit aims to accommodate as many inquiries as possible during the session.

The City has previously organized listening sessions about transportation in relation to PYED and other relevant topics, with recordings available for public access.

Further information regarding PYED and related community engagement events can be found at MonumentalALX. For disability accommodations, individuals may contact Mike.Hatfield@alexandriava.gov or call 703.746.3148, Virginia Relay 711.

For those needing communication in other languages, free interpretation and translation services are offered by emailing LanguageAccess@alexandriava.gov or calling 703.746.3960.
