This morning, at around 9:05 a.m., Alexandria Police responded to an incident on the 5400 block of Roanoke Avenue. They found a 19-year-old man with gunshot wounds. The individual was taken to a local hospital and is reported to be in stable condition with injuries that are not life-threatening.
During the police response, another male arrived at a nearby hospital, also with non-life-threatening gunshot injuries. Authorities have confirmed that the two men are acquainted, and an investigation into their connection is ongoing.
