The City of Alexandria’s Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Activities is set to open registration for its spring and summer programs. The initiative aims to enhance customer experience by introducing two separate registration periods.

Registration for spring classes and programs, scheduled from April 1 to mid-June, will commence on Wednesday, March 19 at 9 a.m. for city residents and Friday, March 21 for non-residents.

Summer program registration will follow later in the year. Residents can register starting Wednesday, May 14 at 9 a.m., while non-residents can do so beginning Friday, May 16. It is important to note that registration for summer camps has already begun.

Interested participants have the option to register online or in person at the Lee Center Registration & Reservation Office located at 1108 Jefferson St.

Financial assistance is available to help individuals access these programs. "Learn more about the options designed to make our popular and niche programming accessible to everyone in the community," encourages the department.

For further information or a complete list of available programs, individuals are directed to visit alexandriava.gov/recreation. The public is also invited to stay updated via social media through alexandriava.gov/rpca/social.

For reasonable disability accommodation inquiries, contact jackie.person@alexandriava.gov or call 703.746.5423, Virginia Relay 711.

Additionally, those who require communication in another language can access free interpretation and translation services by emailing LanguageAccess@alexandriava.gov or calling 703.746.3960.
