Lackawanna County issued the following announcement on Jun. 2.
The Electric City Trolley Museum is once again taking a page out of the area’s rich railroad history by offering eleven excursion runs to PNC Field this Summer for Scranton/Wilkes Barre RailRiders ballgames.
Select games will offer fans an opportunity to “take the trolley” to the park at a very reasonable rate. This hassle-free service will also provide the riders with a picturesque snapshot of our community’s natural beauty.
The price of the Excursion and Baseball admission ticket is $20 per person.
If individuals have game tickets and just want to ride the trolley, the cost is $11.
Reservations for both packages are required.
The regular departure schedule of Trolley rides, which run Thursdays through Sunday, are: 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:45 PM, 2 PM and 3:15 PM.
For baseball dates and other information, please visit the County’s website www.lackawannacounty.org, or contact the Museum at 570-963-6590.
