In celebration of Alexandria Mentoring Month, Alexandria Mentoring Partnership (AMP) is proud to host and highlight a dynamic series of events throughout January, dedicated to honoring and showcasing the impact of mentoring. The objective of these events is to nurture mentoring relationships that empower individuals and bring about positive, enduring change in the Alexandria community.
Here are some upcoming events to mark on your calendar:

Youth Mental Health First Aid: Empowering Communities

•    Date: Thursday, January 18

•    Location: 4850 Mark Center Drive, Conference Room 10408

•    Time: 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.

•    Registration Form

•    Description: Become a certified Youth Mental Health First Aider! This full-day training equips caring adults with the skills to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health challenges in youth. Join us in creating a community that prioritizes the mental well-being of our young minds.

Connect | Focus | Grow Info Session  

•    Date: Thursday, January 18

•    Time: 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

•    Location: Virtual

•   Registration Form

Description: The Connect | Focus  | Grow curriculum presented by Mentor Maryland | DC equips supervisors and mentors with a mentoring mindset while guiding youth on how to leverage their mentoring opportunities. This event is open to established and emerging workforce development programs. Don’t miss this chance to learn, connect, and grow!
