The Alexandria West Planning team has announced an upcoming community open house event scheduled for June 25 at Ferdinand T. Day Elementary School in Alexandria, Virginia. The event will begin at 7 p.m., and attendees can reach the location using the free DASH Bus Route 35.

The open house aims to provide an opportunity for community members to review and ask questions about the draft plan boards between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Following this, a brief staff presentation will be conducted, with a recording available on the project's webpage later.

After the open house, the draft plan will be posted online for public review and feedback until August 1. Information regarding project background, meeting materials, and schedules can be found on the project webpage.

José Delcid from the Department of Planning and Zoning is available for more information at alexandriava.gov/AlexandriaWest or by contacting him via phone or WhatsApp.

For disability accommodations or language interpretation services, residents are encouraged to contact Lisa Chase or email LanguageAccess@alexandriava.gov.
