The City of Alexandria is initiating a survey to gather feedback from residents on various city services. This effort aims to make informed decisions that align with the needs of the community.

A random selection of residents will receive mailings requesting their input. The responses will guide future city decisions, and any information identifying individual respondents will remain confidential. The overall results will be shared publicly.

Alexandria has used similar surveys in the past to enhance existing services and identify future needs for both the city and its community. Previous survey reports are accessible for review.

ETC Institute, a public policy market research firm, is assisting with the survey to ensure it adheres to best practices and yields reliable data.

While this survey targets representative citywide results, Alexandria encourages ongoing resident feedback. Residents can submit or track service requests through Alex311.

For details on open and upcoming engagement opportunities, visit the city's community engagement page.

More information about this survey and previous results can be found on the Office of Performance Analytics (OPA) site. For inquiries, contact OPA at performance@alexandriava.gov.
