The Alexandria West Planning Project continues to progress, with recent updates announced for community members. Key materials from the April 25 community meeting are now accessible on the project's webpage. Residents can request project staff to attend upcoming community meetings for updates and Q&A sessions by contacting Christian Brandt, an urban planner at the Department of Planning and Zoning.

Revised Draft Plan Recommendations have been published online, reflecting changes made since the March 4 draft. The final Draft Plan is set for release in June, followed by a period for public comment and another community meeting. Details regarding dates will be shared through eNews, WhatsApp, and local community groups.

Community members are encouraged to visit the project webpage for comprehensive information and updates. For further inquiries or assistance, José Delcid from the Department of Planning and Zoning can be reached via phone or WhatsApp text messenger.

Accommodations for disabilities are available through Lisa Chase, while free interpretation services can be requested by emailing LanguageAccess@alexandriava.gov or calling a dedicated number.
