A panel of city and state experts addressed community questions during the City of Alexandria's first virtual Community Conversation on transportation for the proposed Potomac Yard Entertainment District (PYED). The session covered topics such as funding, timelines, and strategies from the Kimley-Horne study focused on peak transit times.

Recordings of this meeting and responses to submitted questions are available online. For further details about the PYED project, residents can visit MonumentalALX.com.

The city plans to continue these Community Conversations to provide more opportunities for public engagement. The next event is a public hearing hosted by the Alexandria City Council tomorrow, February 24, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., at City Hall in the Council Chambers.

For those wishing to address the council, it is advised to fill out a speakers' form in advance. Accommodations for disabilities can be arranged by contacting Mike Hatfield at Mike.Hatfield@alexandriava.gov or calling 703.746.3148.
