RPCA receives national accreditation for excellence in parks and recreation

The Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Activities (RPCA) has received national accreditation from the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA) through the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA). This recognition highlights RPCA's excellence in operation and service, underscoring its commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors in Alexandria.

Achieving CAPRA accreditation places RPCA among an elite group of park and recreation agencies across the country. The department expressed gratitude for community support as it continues to deliver programs, facilities, and services.
