White students comprised the largest ethnic group in Arlington County districts during the 2023-24 school year, according to reports from the Virginia Department of Education.

Of the 27,536 students attending Arlington County district schools, 41.9% were white. Hispanic made up the second largest ethnic group, comprising 30.3% of the student population.

In the previous school year, white students were also the most common group in Arlington County districts, representing 42.6% of the student body.

In the 2023-24 school year, the total number of students enrolled in the county dropped 0.2% compared to the previous year.
