Alexandria's RPCA opens summer job and volunteer opportunities

The Department of Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Activities (RPCA) in Alexandria is currently seeking individuals interested in joining their team for the summer of 2025. The available positions include roles such as Recreation Leader, Lifeguard, and Pool Operator. Those interested are encouraged to visit alexandriava.gov/rpca/work-for-rpca to view and apply for these job openings.

In addition to employment opportunities, RPCA is also looking for volunteers who wish to contribute to the community. Volunteers play a crucial role in supporting various programs and activities offered by RPCA. These include cultural arts, senior programs, therapeutic recreation, youth and adult sports, advisory councils, special events, and park projects.
