Description
This program invites teachers to interact with BRI staff and fellow teachers in curricular workshop sessions and experience a live presentation from an esteemed scholar expert. The focus is on 20th century U.S. History, and explores how the American experiment plays out in the foreign and domestic policy of modern America. Inspired by the new digital resource, Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, this in-person PD will combine NEW content and rich examination of recent history. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with a scholar expert whose field of study will deepen their knowledge base on the topic of 20th century America, as well as have rich interaction with the BRI staff and fellow teacher colleagues to share ideas of pedagogy and practical classroom applications.
