Rep. Don Beyer, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Virginia's 8th district since 2015, has been vocal on various issues through his social media presence. Born in Trieste in 1950 and currently residing in Alexandria, Beyer is known for his active engagement in legislative matters.

On November 19, 2024, Rep. Don Beyer emphasized the need for transparency regarding the Gaetz report. He stated: "This should not be a partisan issue -- the Gaetz report must be released." Beyer further expressed that withholding potential wrongdoing while pursuing a high-level law enforcement position is unacceptable.

Later that day, on November 19, he addressed concerns about former President Trump's handling of security clearances. In his tweet, he remarked: "Trump abused the security clearance process to reward allies and family..." To counteract this issue, Beyer introduced the Security Clearance Review Act alongside Rep. Ted Lieu.

On November 20, Rep. Beyer criticized certain economic policies put forth by Republicans. He argued: "It won't lower prices or create jobs..." According to him, these policies serve as distractions while benefiting billionaires and large corporations at the expense of healthcare services.
