Trash, recycling, and yard waste collection in Alexandria will be delayed due to inclement weather on Tuesday, January 7. The schedule will shift by two days to allow for snow and ice removal.
The revised collection plan for the week of January 6-10 is as follows:
- Monday's collection will occur on Wednesday.
- Tuesday's collection will happen on Thursday.
- Wednesday's collection is moved to Friday.
- Thursday's collection will take place on Saturday.
Residents who do not have their trash, recycling, or yard waste collected on the rescheduled day can report a missed collection online or contact Alex 311.
