The City of Alexandria is set to hold a pre-construction open house on January 9 to discuss sanitary sewer construction projects in the Rosemont and Del Ray neighborhoods. The event aims to provide residents with an overview of the project, plans to mitigate construction impacts, and answer questions regarding what they can expect during the construction phase.

The open house will address sanitary sewer construction at four specific locations: the Unit and 100 blocks of East Maple Street, the 200 and 300 blocks of East Oak Street, the 500 block of East Alexandria Avenue, and the 300 block of Ashby Street.

Scheduled for Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., the event will be held in the Sister Cities Conference Room at City Hall, located at 301 King Street. Attendees are advised to use the Cameron Street entrance for access.

Virtual attendance is also available via Zoom. Interested individuals must register online to participate in the virtual meeting.

Further details about the project can be accessed at www.alexandriava.gov/go/5317.
