Alexandria schedules community meeting for sewer project on North Alfred Street

The City of Alexandria has announced a community meeting to discuss the upcoming sanitary sewer construction project on North Alfred Street in Old Town. The meeting is scheduled for January 22, and city staff will present an overview of the project, address construction-related impacts, and answer residents' questions. The construction is expected to begin in February 2025.

The event will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at City Hall's Sister Cities Conference Room, located at 301 King Street. Attendees should enter through the Cameron Street entrance. A virtual attendance option via Zoom is also available, requiring prior registration at zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_SNuH_JXjST-8dsBaXLyGSg.
