Alexandria museum hosts unique Valentine's Day celebration

The Alexandria History Museum at The Lyceum is hosting an event titled "Romance, Bromance, & BFFs" on Valentine's Day. This event offers a unique way to celebrate the day by exploring themes of love and friendship through various activities. It will take place on Friday, February 14, from 6-9 p.m.

Attendees can expect a range of engaging experiences, including stories about relationships and insights into love in the animal kingdom presented by the Buddy Ford Nature Center. The event also features chocolate demonstrations and make-and-take activities where participants can create their own keepsakes. A curated pop-up shop by Friends to Lovers Bookshop will be available for browsing.

Participants are invited to enjoy a specialty cocktail with their first drink included in the ticket price as they connect with others or simply enjoy the festive atmosphere. The event is open to individuals whether they attend with a significant other, best friend, or alone.

The venue for this celebration is located at 201 South Washington Street. Tickets are priced at $25 per person and include one drink ticket. Those interested can purchase tickets online at alexandriava.gov/Shop.
