The following day, February 15, 2025, Beyer made a pointed statement regarding an unspecified government department, which he called "The Department of Gross Stupidity," urging its removal before any harm could occur ("The Department of Gross Stupidity").
Later the same day, Beyer continued his criticism by highlighting the dangers posed by perceived incompetence within this department. He advocated for the disbandment of an entity he referred to as “DOGE” ("This kind of stupidity and incompetence endangers American lives.").
