Rep. Don Beyer, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Virginia's 8th District since 2015, expressed his views on several pressing issues through a series of tweets on March 25, 2025. Beyer, born in Trieste in 1950 and a graduate of Williams College, continues to engage with his constituents via social media platforms.

In a tweet posted at 16:51 UTC, Rep. Beyer commented on Gabbard's responses during an inquiry. He stated that "Gabbard answered many questions about topics that are 'under review.' She obviously refused to answer questions that would have led to damaging or embarrassing admissions."

Later the same day, at 19:26 UTC, Beyer addressed the issue of pay inequality by stating, "It's unacceptable that in 2025, equal work doesn't mean equal pay for women across the country." He voiced his support for the Paycheck Fairness Act as part of Equal Pay Day initiatives aimed at combating pay discrimination.

In another tweet posted at 23:29 UTC, Beyer called for accountability following a security breach incident. He emphasized that "Congress and other proper authorities must provide oversight of this incredibly stupid security breach." He further insisted that Hegseth, Waltz, Gabbard, and Witkoff should either resign or be dismissed and advocated for appointing a special counsel to investigate the matter.
