Don Beyer shared a federal judge's summary regarding Abrego Garcia, emphasizing evidence cited included "his Chicago Bulls hat and hoodie, and a vague, uncorroborated allegation from a confidential informant claiming he belonged to MS-13’s ‘Western’ clique in New York— a place he has never lived" (source).
In a subsequent post on the same day, Beyer criticized the Trump Administration's handling of Garcia. Beyer declared, "That's all it took for JD Vance and the Trump Administration to call this Maryland father a 'terrorist.' They sent him to a foreign prison, and the Administration admitted it was a mistake, but they're refusing to bring him back despite being ordered to by the Supreme Court" (source).
