The City of Alexandria has announced a virtual listening session and a pop-up event for the proposed Potomac Yard Entertainment District. The virtual listening session, which will focus on transportation and traffic management, is scheduled for Thursday, February 1, from 7 to 8 p.m. Interested participants can register online to attend the session. This is the third of four weekly Thursday-night listening sessions, with each session addressing a different aspect of the project. Recordings of the previous sessions are available for those who missed them.

The upcoming listening session on Thursday, February 8, from 7 to 8 p.m. will shift the focus to small business and economic opportunities within the Potomac Yard Entertainment District. This session will provide valuable insights and information for individuals interested in the economic impact of the project.

In addition to the listening sessions, the City of Alexandria will also host a pop-up event on Saturday, February 3, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event will take place at Leonard "Chick" Armstrong Recreation Center located at 25 W. Reed Ave. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the Potomac Yard Entertainment District project and ask any questions they may have.
