The Alexandria West Planning Project is moving forward with a public hearing scheduled for November 7. During this session, the Draft AlexWest Plan will be reviewed by the Planning Commission. The materials related to this docket are available for public examination.
Community members are encouraged to participate in the hearings either in person or via Zoom. Details regarding participation can be found on the docket. For those needing interpretation services, Christian Brandt, an Urban Planner, can be contacted at christian.brandt@alexandriava.gov. Requests for these services must be submitted by November 1.
Updates and information about the AlexWest Plan will continue to be distributed through eNews and WhatsApp. Additionally, they will be shared with community groups and posted on the project's webpage, which also contains background information, materials, and a project schedule.
