The Urban Design Advisory Committee (UDAC) of Old Town North is scheduled to conduct its annual walking tour on Wednesday, November 13. The event will commence at 9 a.m. outside St. Elmo’s Coffee Pub, located at 529 Montgomery Street.

This year’s tour will feature several key development sites in Old Town North, including addresses such as 500 Montgomery Street and 901 North Pitt Street. Other locations on the itinerary include the Muse at 1201 North Royal Street, Tidelock covering multiple addresses on North Fairfax Street, the Venue at 925 North Fairfax Street, and Robinson Terminal North situated at both 500 and 501 North Union Street.

City staff members are set to provide UDAC participants and attendees with detailed information regarding each site during the tour. The role of UDAC involves reviewing development plans to ensure they align with the Urban Design Guidelines specific to Old Town North. These applications are considered as needed and discussed in public meetings.

For those seeking further details about the walking tour, resources are available through the project website or by contacting Daniel Welles, an Urban Planner, at 703.746.3838.

Individuals requiring disability accommodations can reach out via email to Alicia.Chase@alexandriava.gov or call 703.746.3831; Virginia Relay is also accessible by dialing 711.
