Weather permitting, Virginia American Water's contractor is set to start a water main replacement on North Quaker Lane beginning Monday, September 30. The work will occur from Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday sessions if needed, between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. This project is expected to continue until early November 2024.
Throughout the construction period, at least one lane of North Quaker Lane will remain open in each direction at all times. Access to residents' homes and driveways will not be affected by the construction activities.
Residents are advised to plan their travel routes accordingly as delays may occur due to the utility work.
