Alexandria, VA - The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a double shooting that occurred overnight at the intersection of N. Fayette and Wythe Streets. Officers responded to reports of shots fired around 2 a.m. on the 1100 block of Wythe Street.
Upon arrival, officers found two male juveniles inside a vehicle with apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to the hospital; one is in critical condition while the other is stable.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are seeking assistance from the public. "If you have any information about this incident, please call Detective Jason Marable of the APD Criminal Investigations Division at 703-746-6883," urged the police department. Tips can be submitted anonymously.
